Bringing your baby home is exciting—and it can come with plenty of questions. Baby Basics gives new and expectant parents the practical knowledge and hands-on skills they need to confidently care for their newborn.

Topics include feeding, newborn routines and sleep, bathing, diapering, umbilical cord care, soothing techniques, infant safety, and recognizing common illnesses.

Knowing what to do in an emergency can give parents and caregivers invaluable confidence. This practical, hands-on class teaches the essential skills needed to respond to infant and child emergencies.
 
Topics include infant and child CPR, choking prevention and response, and essential baby safety.

Preparing for a planned Cesarean birth comes with its own set of questions. This focused class walks you through what to expect before, during, and after your baby’s birth so you can approach the experience feeling informed and prepared.

Topics include signs of labor, pre-surgical testing, hospital admission, what to expect in the operating room, postpartum recovery, and practical tips for a smoother transition home.
 
Approximately 90 minutes | $200 for two people

Preparing for two- or more!- brings a unique set of questions and considerations. Designed specifically for families expecting multiples, this comprehensive class combines expert clinical guidance with real-life experience to help you feel prepared for pregnancy, birth, feeding, and life at home with your babies.
 
Topics include pregnancy and delivery considerations, feeding multiples, newborn care, sleep and routines, scheduling strategies, and practical tips for managing life with more than one baby.
 
Taught by Dominique Weiss, RN, IBCLC, maternal-child health nurse and mom of boy/girl twins.
